JASNA Cen Cal Meet-Up – Live and In-Person

JASNA CEN CAL MEET- UP

Reconnect with your local JASNA region

Austen chit-chat * Pandemically Responsible

June 12, 2021 * 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. * Woodward Park Next to the Lake [Map of Park]

After more than a year of JASNA Central California online, our county is finally at a place where we can meet in person again – with precautions adhering to Fresno County’s current guidelines. So we’re holding an informal gathering to reconnect with our local Janeites, touch base, and have a little Austen chit-chat, trivia, and fun.

So bring your own chair, snack or lunch, and your dog-eared editions of Austen into the shade of Woodward Park and we’ll be there to greet you, from six feet away, of course!

Below are the guidelines we have in place for attending our gathering. We deeply appreciate your cooperation with them so we can enjoy our JASNA friends and help keep everyone healthy at the same time:

If you have any questions about the event or guidelines, please email regional coordinator Heather Parish at info@jasnacencal.org.

ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC HEALTH:

Thinking of attending? We strongly encourage all attendees be fully vaccinated, if at all possible. We will require mask-wearing when not eating or drinking, and maintaining 6 feet of distance. We will also require all attendees to sign in with their current contact information at the event.

When the event approaches, please review the following to attend safely:

Whether or not you have gotten the COVID vaccine:

1. Are you having any symptoms of COVID? (fever, cough, body aches, headache, runny nose, sore throat, loss of taste or smell)

2. Have you tested positive for COVID in the last 10 days?

If you answered yes to either of these questions, we kindly ask that you do not attend and join us at our next event.

If you are not fully vaccinated (fully vaccinated means it’s been more than 14 days since your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or the one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine):

1. Have you had close contact with a person with COVID in the last two weeks?

2. Are you waiting for a COVID test result because you recently had symptoms?

3. Have you returned from traveling outside of California in the last two weeks?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we kindly ask that you do not attend and join us at our next event.

*The event will provide hand sanitizer, spare masks, and markings for chairs to maintain social distancing. We will also provide individual bottles of water for our attendees. Attendance is free. There is a $5 per car cash fee to enter Woodward Park.
