Depend upon JASNA regions all across the country to keep you in good stead with Austen entertainment, even from home. With an assist from other Austenites like those at Chawton House and Silver Petticoat Review, there are several ways to get your Austen fix this summer.

Saturday 11th July 2020: Jane Austen Society’s 80th Birthday Venue: Online. A free online day of celebration hosted by Chawton House, celebrating the Jane Austen Society’s 80th birthday, its legacy, and of course, the great author herself. Information here.
July 11 & August 15:C omparing scenes from Pride and Prejudice adaptations. JASNA Southwest Florida. Saturdays at 1pm Eastern Time (10 am Pacific Time). You will receive an invitation to the ZOOM meeting a week before each meeting. Contact them through their website to ask to be put on the list.
Saturday, July 25, 2020: The Jane Austen Society author Natalie Jenner speaks with JASNA Southwest Region. Meeting will be conducted via Zoom. Natalie Jenner is the author of the new novel (released in May 2020) The Jane Austen Society, a fictional telling of the start of the society in the 1940s in the village of Chawton, where Austen lived.
Final Week of July: Silver Petticoat Review Book Club will discuss The Jane Austen Society, a novel by Natalie Jenner.
